Good luck to him. Hopefully he stays fit and bangs them in. Then we'll either have a rejuvenated striker on our hands in the summer or Sheff Wed will be looking to spend a decent bit of money. The lad deserves a bit of luck and game time after the dreadful last few years.

Hear hear

Letting let him go, very strange, but for the player, he has chance of real game time, but at City (well both) Norwich/Man City, his movement that lead to goals was good, and great reading.. playing more would have benefited CP... or is Benteke now ready to step up.. time will now...
Dont think we can attract quality players with H.. as manager!!

Cahill came BECAUSEof Roy

Give me Wickham any given game instead of Benteke.

Absolutely bang on.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Have to say after witnessing our lack of options from the bench yesterday, how few attacking players there are in our squad (actually correct that just any players) and the fact that we’re in a relegation battle putting Wickham out on loan was up there with some of the more cretinous decisions in recent years.

Is he the stunt double for Matt Lucas

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Looks like the Wednesday fans are less than impressed with Connor's first 2 appearances. Suggesting he has the mobility of a sandbag would by comparison leave our own Christian Benteke somewhere behind said sandbag. I know he broke his duck at the weekend, but the hope that he has his confidence back and will now go on to bag a hatful by the end of the season is stretching it a bit.

I had to read that twice. Must be the only thing he hasn’t broken.

The only duck he will be breaking will be the one in his garden pond. I still can't believe they took him.

Shame he’s injured again after scoring a couple lately:

George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....?
