The shooter appears to have left a far right manifesto. So he was an individual on the far right. As for official associations or backing I don't know.

I once nicked for my signature thingy a line which tickled me from Private Eye's "From The Messageboards" (which is an excellent parody of the self-parody Hol has become in parts). It was "I'm so angry I can't think no more." You can have it if you want.
