Yup. Making fun of players because they're too fat or too short or too ugly is also ok, but only for racism and sexism you can get banned from a stadium. People really took it t the next level of stupidity

(Not the strongest bit of that set, but you get the idea. (Or not, quite possibly.))

As a woman, I can step aside, or step up my game...

The very nice gentleman who sits next to me is 74 years young, healthy fit and slim and also a season ticket holder. If told he must not attend he says he is going to ask for a refund for the games he has to miss.

Yes, I'm completely sure that there's no risk that the over 70s are anymore likely to be the cause of any spread of the virus than any other group; which is exactly what I posted.

And is true but I think it is more to protect them.
Higher death risk looking at figures published.

I like the idea of Roy being wheeled out in some kind of hermetically sealed pope mobile for matches.

Is the correct answer. They are the most vulnerable group due to other underlying conditions e.g. COPD.

Like any other group of individuals, the over 70s are more than capable of deciding the degree of risk they are prepared to tolerate and don't need to be cosseted by the nanny state.

Sorry I agree I wasn't recommending it just explaining the rational.

Whilst I normally agree with you on most things I'm afraid that I don't this time as you are forgetting the fact that we have a large amount of terminally stupid people amongst the population.

My wife is a nurse on a cardiac ward and a large proportion of her patients are morbidly obese and suffer from diabetes as well as other things. This doesn't stop them from stuffing themselves with chocolate saying that it doesn't matter as they will just take extra insulin

I was referring specifically to attendance at PL football matches (the subject of the post) rather than any more general considerations. I'm sure that, even so, the poor decision making, to which you refer, is not limited to the over 70s.

I think Palace should offer a refund on the season ticket cost for anyone with existing medical reasons and anyone over 70 although it should still be their decision (and risk) if they want to attend.

It can be a discount on their 2020/21 season ticket, should they ever come out.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
