This should have been Zaha's season to show what he can do and be in the shop window - head down, let the football talk after the mess of last summer.

There is and was so much chatter of wilf signing 5 years to protect the club with a decent fee if a club came along and with a gentleman's agreement that would be the case (we all know about parish and handshakes - Holloway).

It's just not happened.

I can see him being sold for like 45 plus add ons which would raise it to 55/60 (winning euro cup etc or league) and I can see Parish going around saying he sold him for 60 to save face.

This season could have been the season that wasted his chances, if he doesn't get a move this summer he never will, or the season that is a wake up call for not only Zaha but Parish and they both think, let's build around each other - Zaha stays and parish invests.

I can't see that happening either.

Zaha has been and still is a key player but he won't attract £40m+ unless he's getting goals. He has never been a top scorer but he's dried up completely now.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

We'll be lucky to get £40m INCLUDING add-ons. The question remains - who will buy him? Can't see either of the Scousers, nor Manure/Citeh, nor Arsenal. Chelski is possible, especially if Willian departs. Spurs? what about European teams?
Wilf's overall performances this year may well see him still here next season.

His last goal was against Brighton in December.
He has not scored in his last 12 games.

I recall that Dortmund were interested in him the summer before last, I obviously don’t want to see him go but I think that would be a good move for him

pretty much reaffirms my feelings that he has lost his chance, money won't be a reason to move, a big club in the uk?

Lol, imagine if Celtic came in for a cheeky bid... only way he will lift a trophy, get a shot at Europe.

I always felt and is till do, that wolves will come in for him.

We'll only clear £20m to £30m for Wilf now. As ever, it's not worth selling. The same quandary for everyone...us, him, and prospective buyers.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Dortmund would be a great move for every player in Europe , outside the top 40 established ones.
Dortmund buy young up and coming players for very little and turn them into proper players. Can’t see them buying someone that’s heading towards his late twenties for double what they have just spent on the best teenager in the world.
One is 6ft 3 , runs like usain bolt, has ridiculous stats and will cost Madrid/Barcelona £100 million within 18 months, the other one moans a lot , gets bullied every time he plays against the midget ‘ward prowse’ and attacks at walking pace, with no future sell on value.
Never , ever going to happen.

For me the Man U sell on clause has killed any deal, even £30 million , can’t see it, would get us just over £20 million.
Worth more than that to us over the next 4 years , Surley.
Needs to get his nut down and enjoy the £125 grand a week, love he gets from the fans and that he is undroppable at Palace, for now.

Yep. That sounds right to me.

Good on Wilf. Good to see some footballing giants helping those in need. Modern day lords of the manor. Hope Wilf stays.

He has always donated 10% of his wages to charity I think.

This break will probably be good for Wilf's game - I think he's often carrying injuries when he plays so it will be good for him to refresh.
