You seem very protective of the red party.
So anti tory it's quite scary really.
Anyhow diane and McDonnell have gone and let's hope RLB gets binned. Get rid of the ultra left parts of momentum and he might have a party to put up a battle. Centre left would give labour the best chance going forwards. Not in 4 years though.

Isn't Angela Raynor a bit of a leftie? I don't really follow Labour party politics but Starmer is going to have to deal with her.

She lives with Rebecca Long-Bailey, but not as bad as her. My friend, who is a labour councillor and a bit of a momentumn type wanted Raynor as the next leader because they thought politics needed a woman. I pointed out Thatcher and May are both women which bought an awkward silence.

Probably the best way to appease the far left.

Does the deputy leader actually do anything or is it more ceremonial?

Starmer is in it for the long haul. He's a slow-burner.
Glad he's fcked-off the liabilities that Corbyn surrounded himself with. DA for starters.

And at least Starmer's adhering to social distancing, unlike the PM who is in hospital and the Scottish Health Minister who was caught breaching her own guidance,....twice.

Odd that after the word “Gammon” being thrown around they appoint a man who could wear a pineapple hat.

Her predecessor did enough - causing untold misery for several honourable men with his s*it-stirring about alleged child abuse.

Totally agree. Watson should be remembered for his disgraceful championing of the crazy fantasist "Nick" who appeared to convince senior policemen (the so-called top level guardians of justice) that fairy tales were true.

Sorry folks, getting off-topic but had to say this. Backed for a peerage by Corbyn too - says it all about that person. Enough for now!

True but that wasn't something that formed part of his duties as deputy leader of the Labour party

He must have gone to the same school as the conservative pm cameron, London mayor boris, and chancellor osborne, in the great Uber scandal a few years ago-its just business apparently!

Not far off attended the Independent Reigate Grammar, followed by University of Leeds and St Edmund Hall Oxford.
As I said more Tory than many Tories
