I think he could bugger some on here's mother's and their response would be ' still, at least he didn't teabag her like Labour would've'.

That's illegal unless your mum is over 21 and a bloke.

LOL. Probably share many of your prejudices against Johnson but the man has the special sauce that means he can dodge all kinds of slings and arrows that would fell many others.

Winning twice in London against Livingstone then smashing that election in December. Incredible political achievements in this modern era.

One of the reasons I am so dismissive of this ST 'expose'. It is a desperate attempt to try and pretend that it matters anymore and could harm Johnson. Like so many others in the Establishment seeming either unable or incapable of understanding how the rules have changed.

And the incredible desperation of the usual suspects to try and believe that it might force him to resign. PM's with 80 seat majorities and positive approval polling do not resign. Ever.

This idea of an out of touch Metropolitan Elite, supposedly comprised of the brightest of the bright, has never been as valid as it is today.

The great unwashed don't care what the Sunday Times has to say about anything.

Yup we love boris. Alternatively we could be waiting for deaths to slow down or stop then take a non biased non emotional view. But we all know what floats your boat danh. Put that cross next to labour even if it's a manaqin.

I didn’t vote for Labour.

Taken from a trusted source on a different forum:-

Once upon a time an ex-Scotland Yard policeman was hired by the NHS to root out fraud. Along with lots of small frauds he uncovered a biggy. It relied on the NHS not checking invoices over many years and paying them. It involved a major British company issuing those invoices without checking whether the rolling contracts were still valid. in some cases equipment was being charged for in buildings which no longer existed. The amount was well over £300 million. He negotiated a settlement with the MD of the British company and obtained a bankers draft for the amount. When he took the draft into the MOH instead of praise and congratulations he was met with hostility. The only thing on the minds of those in charge was how were the civil servants to hide their incompetence?

That company is still a major supplier to the NHS.

I heard this direct from the source.

This is a problem with every 'evergreen' contract

I refuse to sign them. But the problem is that if you don't and you forget to re-order you can end up without critical kit.

What tends to happen is the person that first signs the agreement leaves, nobody remembers it and it just runs. And the annual reminders go to a deleted inbox.

I would rather the law stated that you need to prove you have actually communicated with your client at the renewal time

I am in the middle of a dispute with Thomson Reuters on this point.

If you run on a shoestring and often don't replace leavers then it's hard to spot the mistakes. Just maybe the NHS doesn't have enough middle to senior managers in order to be properly in control.

As may be true but I will still support palace as they give me more good than bad much the same as the tories in my life. Is that wrong?

Forget? What sort of inventory management are they operating?

As irony would have it, I actually did at the last election, as they were the only ones with a realistic chance of unseating the incumbent arsehole Tory.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Didnt go to plan though as he got 80 seats more.
Might have been 81 with your vote.
