He's now sulking and saying that his news conferences are "not worth the time and effort". His own ego is magnitudes more important to him than public health. It must be embarrassing being a scientific advisor having to juggle getting a message out with humouring Trump's own bizarre ideas. The only reason he feels confident in voicing this nonsense is because if you disagree with him you're gone. He's surrounded by sycophants and that doesn't really work for anybody during a pandemic.

I just read the NY time report of this it's Reade by the way.

Unless some new evidence comes to light I doubt this is going anywhere, the people she said she complained to at the time deny all knowledge.

One more point

We have the strange situation where both parties have leaders they aren't that fond of....and where the vice president has a genuine chance of taking over at some point.

I'm looking forward to the debates though....one can't filter what he says and the other can't remember what the start of the sentence was about.
