Having said that, as games will be played behind closed doors I can’t see the logic to playing on neutral grounds, which entails both teams having to travel rather than just one.

If neutral grounds aren't used, I'd be interested to find out whether home advantage manifests itself when there is no crowd. This was going around on WhatsApp a few days ago. Premier league will be back in June. A sport travel agency that manages logistics for some top teams (spurs, city, wolves, newcastle, rangers to name a few) has been tasked with arranging hotels and travel for 8 weeks starting mid may. All premier league teams will play their remaining games at St. George’s Park, behind closed doors and for TV only. The complex will host 2/3 games a day that will be streamed live. The players will go into isolation mid may at select hotels in the vicinity of st georges and will train at local clubs grounds. They will not be able to see family and friends during the period of games. Each player will be tested regulary to ensure safety and hotels will be locked down for players only. Looks like we are going to have a world cup style June with loads of games to watch and finally a conclusive end to this season. Thanks I wasn't aware of that however that could still be fake news but like I said having all the teams in one location has it's advantages. Don't forget they also have to match officials and there's the telly. I suspect that the company that shows the games would prefer them in one location otherwise a bit of a logistical nightmare. Anyway it was just a suggestion which I quite liked. One more point

Thanks I wasn't aware of that however that could still be fake news but like I said having all the teams in one location has it's advantages. Don't forget they also have to match officials and there's the telly. I suspect that the company that shows the games would prefer them in one location otherwise a bit of a logistical nightmare.

Anyway it was just a suggestion which I quite liked.

The St George's Park idea sounds almost feasible, but with 10 rounds of matches to go I dont think the pitches will be able to take 190 games in a month. Second to last sentence is something I reckon could happen. If you are going to need 3 wins at the end for any chance to stay up then betcha suddenly get a dose or just generally dont feel well even if a test is negative. Not going to happen so EPL are going to have multiple court cases to settle for any relegated teams or non promoted teams.

If wages and transfer fees go down because the EFL clubs are desperate I hope that will encourage the PL clubs to buy more home based players. It is also likely that the government will make it harder to sign average foreign players post Brexit. There maybe a silver lining in one of the many clouds. One more point

Up until now PL clubs buying players from the EFL paid a premium which is why buying the equivalent foreign player is so attractive.

If wages and transfer fees go down because the EFL clubs are desperate I hope that will encourage the PL clubs to buy more home based players. It is also likely that the government will make it harder to sign average foreign players post Brexit.

There maybe a silver lining in one of the many clouds.

All a bit of a mess. Seems like they have good ideas and are trying to be organised in making sure this can work with full cooperation and planning from everyone but if the teams cannot decide how to finish the season then what is the point ? Surely you have to have a proper league programme otherwise it turns into a bunch of friendlies ? I certainly don't think playing at home would give us an advantage TBH! Did notice Brighton had: MC Man U Liverpool Arsenal Left to play so maybe they just aren't confident of staying up?!
