That way, it's easing supporters back in, it's introducing staff back in and slowly getting back to normal, monitoring the spikes etc. I would also, as a government stay strict on lock down for over 60's and ease up the rest for younger and those with stronger immune systems. That's ofcourse, if you believe all of this isn't a psyop to control us. What's a substitue?

You might make everyone wear a mask and gloves to get in but once inside how many would take them off and what happens when your team scores in injury time.

A friends son, is the ICU consultant in Edinburgh and he has said that in his 20+ years as a medic this is the worst respiratory illness he has ever seen, its deadly and you do not want to put yourself at risk under any circumstances so please all take care, keep safe and hope that a vaccine is found soon!

It comes down to minimising your risk and what you ‘need’ to do. Attend a football match while R reproduction rates are high doesn’t come under need to do for me. This ICU consultant will also have seen the demographics of his patients. Unless you’re in a care home you can significantly cut your risk down to almost zero as long as you do what you know you should. Unfortunately if you’re at risk, this extends to not meeting up with someone who’s going about as it nothing is going on, including going to football.

Why would it go under Rudi, the owners and the players expectations need to match the future direction the crisis is leading us into? If clubs are skint, stop paying/cut down on payments to players. Not sure what the contracts say, but I am sure they can be made redundant the same as anyone else. The world is going to change and it is time for a reset in football too. Annual contracts, even per game contracts might become the norm. All spectator sports are going to be affected and sportsmen and women could find that it is no longer the hugely profitable profession it once was. I think a lot of people have grossly underestimated the impact that Covid is going to have in the world. It isn't going away and I very much doubt you will see full sporting venues for a long long time. Cinemas will probably close down, which impacts actors, pubs and clubs who have been struggling even without this situation will be finished as much because of public perception as anything else. Don't want to scaremonger but this is in all likelihood what is going to happen.

I meant that tv companies want their money back or the matches played and that’s going to have a serious financial impact on clubs. Do you really see players offering to change their 4-5 year deals after their reluctance to take a pay cut? On the way to this new reset of football there going to be a lot of damage on the way without any football being played. And you’re not sure what the contracts say, but you are sure they can be made redundant the same as anyone else. Really?

They can be made redundant but it would mean paying the rest of their contract up. That makes no sense.

You wonder why somebody in sport hasn't spoken out the governments poor handling of the virus, the way things are going next season could also be a write off. I can only see a rise in infections relaxing lockdown, without proper testing
