Was ‘Little Fluffy Clouds’ by The Orb a lovely song?’

I’d say it was more reminiscing rather than the singer singing words of love or messages to the receiver.

What a track though. The music of that era will never be rivalled, ever. Classic tune after tune after tune just kept coming out. Even kids now prefer it to today’s shyte.

It was a long song though, and yes lovely as well whilst not about love.

In that era you could love songs from a different genre. Any genre. There were classics coming out for every young person’s group.

It was also a voyage of discovery so much stuff crossing boundaries and musical genre.

Also so many places to actually see music live.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

Rainbow in Curved Air Terry Riley (18 minutes)

Does Tubular Bells count as a song? Parts 1 & 2 racked up 48 minutes between them.

Couldn't remember the name of the track and just had to Google it.
The final track from Trainspotting - (The soundtrack is pretty great)

Born Slippy - Underworld. (9 mins 46)

I remember i bought it when it was a CD single back in the day and realised it was more than 9 minutes, went back and got my money back. I still dont think I've ever heard the song in its entirety.

Also, Dire Straits - tunnel of Love. (8 mins 8 seconds according to Wikipedia)
The guitar solo in there is one of the best ever for me.
