Depends if he kept gloves on, or mingled, why can"t he remember? I think, if youre honest, anyone would remember if they fuelled up on a 270 mile journey, especially a month ago, unless you had something to hide,

Dominic Cummings has far more to think about than his next dig at the Government on a football fans forum if, as many think, he is one of the most influential people in the country

keep supporting him thou mate,i" just happy to see 20 odd of your fellow CONS not happy, its a start!

Interesting statistic as you are effectively claiming that 345 of his fellow Conservatives are happy

I feel like Cummings became victim of atmosphere created (or had to be created? i will explain) by government that you will kill people if you go outside like you own a body that has high level of radiation..

I agree this Cumming discussion became a hysteria for everyone, however from my perspective `on theory` logic is simple.

Did he break the rule? If answer is yes, he has to be sacked. No if, no buts. If answer is no, no.

Did he break the rule? What i read from his proposal is `no` in regards of moving to second empty property under circumstances of being one of 2 ill parent. But `yes` in regards of visit to castle which has a ridiculous explanation with that funny eyesight test proposal. You can do it by trying to read a car plate from 20 m couple of times.

If you are the one who is so-called architect of `Stay Home` proposal, you have no other choice than to be targeted for this case.

Those are on-paper facts. In practise, will he? No. He is the adviser who `built` Boris Johnson so he will not be marked down for an `overestimated` risk.

However, i believe a damaged is already done within Cons that many key figures will note this down. But the other fact is, even that may not damage Cummings (remember when historical Con figures were expelled, who cares now?)

I am a bit puzzled on how he did such a risky move? In fact we have discussed this situation with my wife a month ago because we have no relatives at this country. We have 9 & 2 year old and just tried to simulate what we would do if we both get ill. `On paper` solution was:

- To get support from some friends for food
- Not pushing anyone to take care of kids or taking us to hospital to avoid pushing them into a difficult situation.

This was all actually, never been sure what we would do if we both have severe symptoms but i believe Cummings was supposed to have more options and i am not convinced because of this. Moving to an empty house which is close to parents seems sensible approach but castle visit and attitude of `this is what i did, leave with it` righteously annoy people.

Anyways, such an awkward discussion that even i wrote a book and couldn`t share my key comments for status of this crisis. Will continue after when i have time

Dominic Cummings is a c*nt. Everyone knows that, and everyone knows the Labour, Lib dem, and the remain camp are gunning for him.

But he's got plausable deniability here.

We know the majority of people kicking up a fuss about this are motivated by trying to make news and get a big political cull. It seems desperate, being closer to family for emergency child care is a good enough excuse for me.

If this wasn't a Tory spin doctor, the people kicking up a fuss and potecting him would be all do a complete 180.

Loads of Labour MP's tweeted the exact same tweet word for word being outraged about this. It's fake outrage and it's too obvious. Labour would be wise to move on from this and concentrate on real issues.

At least one of the newspapers has a double page spread with loads of photos of socialising and the headline, ‘May as well.’ It’s this kind of sanctimonious shyte that’s the problem, not someone who looked after his son, kept a distance and apart from everyone, including his elderly parents who lived in a different building.

Everybody knows who’s vulnerable and at risk now. To start pointing the finger on the possibility that a load of people not at risk might die is so pathetic but expected. What is actually required is encouragement to start doing the things we used to do but a bit carefully. If a load of people act on a newspaper or other media and social media telling them to mix as normal because someone drove 260 miles to keep his son in the family network and sat on a bench near nobody at all then it tells you all you need to know about said people. This from the media hounding DC for being irresponsible in the first place. I expect Piers Morgan to be the first and all the itv moronic viewers to do as the w&nker says.

You, and everyone else who are blame shifting by concentrating on the media, are completely missing the point. If the government's whole strategy has been to encourage us to do what they ask because they are "following the science", then when the scientists say this is wrong they must act accordingly.

Fail to do that, and that means sacking Cummings, then their credibility is shredded.

This is going to bite very hard and is a serious misjudgement that will impact all of us.

So have many others!

Not the point is it?

All of them combined won't have the same impact on public behaviour as this by Cummings. They aren't in the public eye or part of the structure which is setting the current rules.

I didn’t think you were capable of huge exaggeration. And actually we need people to dare to leave their front doors more anyway, apart from the vulnerable, and keeping a distance from them when you drop supplies off to them.

And on the science, who has he mixed with apart from in the hospital? There are several properties on the farm. He didn’t do anything there more than speak to them from a distance. His parents are old and I don’t for one minute think he’d compromise them.

The one thing he is guilty of, heaven forbid, is driving to that spot and sitting on the bench on his wife’s birthday. But it isn’t a hanging offence for me. If there’s evidence he kept going back up to Durham then he is a goner. But there isn’t and that leads me to believe he didn’t because people these days can’t wait to get their camera phones out.

If you mean that he is a divisive figure then I don't suppose you will find anyone to disagree with you.

He doesn't make any attempt to make friends and has upset a whole load of people which is why when the chips are down they are busily forming a queue to stick the knife in.

He wants to reform the way the country is governed. He wants to reform the Civil Service. he wants to change the way that the BBC is funded. That's a hell of a lot of noses out of joint all of whom are revelling in his misfortune and who will try and drag it out as long as possible

What you fail to understand is that I "saw it first hand" too!

In my time in business I saw a lot of senior management in action both in the private and public sectors, including the civil service. They have a lot in common as the jobs have many similarities.

You seem to think that just because your own experiences have left you with such a negative viewpoint that it's the only viewpoint and must therefore be correct.

It isn't. It's just your own.

I heard that the grounds he was in for his sit down were his families anyway.

Like your brexit viewpoint that you push on everyone including your friends and family.

The bbc have dropped the ball here. Just think of the damage that can be inflicted on them in 4 years. Along with a microscopic look at any other parties misgivings. Everyone has skeletons and selective memories.

I was talking about him admitting he drove to Castle Whatsit on his wife’s birthday. He was hardly in a town centre going in and out of their favourite bakery or whatever.
