This, if true, is excellent news! A bit of a win-win. But I think it would be worth giving him some game time and not just look to sell him. I don’t know a huge amount about the Turkish league but Trabsonspor are top of the league and he has scored 25 goals in 39 appearances, with 4 of those in the Europa League. If we had signed a striker from the championship with similar stats we would all be quite excited. Yes, he was poor while he was with us before but he was heavily restricted to appearances off the bench or sporadic games with no chance of putting a run together. And rightly so, he wasn’t good enough, but with the confidence of such a strong season in Turkey and another year older (still only 24) we need to give him another chance. Confidence and form are huge, just look at Ayew this season, compared to last, he is likely to be some people’s vote for player of the season so far. And if not, I’m sure his value now is more than we paid for him. Win-win!

The lack of clarity on our situation regarding Sorloth has been causing me a headache for a while.
I assumed that if we had any way to get him back or benefit from a transfer Parish would have already come out and told us.
Failing financial fair play and getting banned from Europe is one scenario I wasn't expecting.
Fingers crossed he ends up back with us and either gets a run in the team (with all the confidence of being prolific in Turkey) or we can actually benefit from getting a decent fee for him.

Not sure is it affected by the breach of FFP?

Not UEFA, breaches are penalised within their competitions I'm sure.
