He enriched himself through the slave trade resulting in en masse manslaughter. But it was only 19,000 men, women and children on his watch. How many other mass murderers would you think it appropriate to celebrate by a bronze memorial in pride of place? Time to face up to history methinks by removing a nasty stain that we just kind of got used to.

He enriched himself through the slave trade resulting in en masse manslaughter. But it was only 19,000 men, women and children on his watch.

Time to face up to history methinks by removing a nasty stain that we just kind of got used to.

You cannot erase history. It's where we came from. I'm not totally enamoured to Nelson's statue as he was involved and supported tons of deaths. Any chance on yanking that down.

BME english people are proud of being English the ones who are the majority I would guess. Proud of their roots but also of being english.
