5 combs, six packs of razors, 4 haircuts and still no jump.

One just doesn't witness combs being used any more in public.
Furthermore, one doesn't witness hair that has been oiled and the 'Dry look' is very much in evidence. One used to see many a noble head of hair oiled for the occasion.

In bygone days I used to avail of Brylcreem and Silvikrin and in more recent times 'Wet look' gel.

No, what is pathetic is that a (thankful) minority of people, albeit a majority in the football world (which is shameful but not surprising) can't seem to see what is actually happening to minorities in the world, even in this day and age.

BLM (the protests rather than the political movement/group) is simply about trying to address systemic racism. Minorities are disadvantaged and that's a fact. I'm sure you'll spout "All lives matter" at me or say that this is political but it isn't. It's about trying to ensure that everyone gets a fair crack at the whip in life. ALM can't be a true statement until BLM (and other affected minorities).

You're happy to cheer on our black players when it suits, but not defend their civil liberties? People with those views may not be racists themselves (and I'm not suggested they all are), but standing idly by and not fighting for equality is what really is pathetic.

If you can show me a post where I have suggested they should not defend their civil liberties I will apologise. Yes I do cheer on OUR players whatever their colour/ religion etc as I have stated before. Do all lives not matter then? I really don’t understand this argument. I am not a violent person, I have friends of all colours and religions, to me all their lives matter but that doesn’t seem acceptable, please explain why.
I have first hand experience of what happens to the Christian minorities in pakistan, never see anyone protest about this, what about how the Chinese have treated the Tibetans? Does anyone care, coz I have seen very little evidence of this. I have rightly condoned what happened in the USA, who hasn’t.

Here in the uk. Nah not on any scale like africa and the far east. It happens but systemic in what way. Are you an advocate for positive discrimination as in SA. Bygone days yes I remember but now I dont see it. If your good enough and your appearance ,apptitude and attitude are good then you have the same chance whatever colour. If after those criteria are met and still no joy then yes investigate why but dont presume it's because of colour. There is a lot of that going on. Anyhow this is not for this thread so end of.

Hair oil, had forgotten about that used to see the od fellas whose white hair was stained an odd shade of orange with a mix of hair old and nicotine.

Negative!

I have no recollection of 'Rubber Johnnies' being lubricated to this degree.

In bygone days, using one was akin to having a shower wearing a 'Mackintosh' but I am led to believe that advances have been made aiding the penile sensation.

I once met a charming chap with dark hair who had enough oil on his head to fry a sack of potatoes.

Having all had pride in my appearance, over the years I have attempted to enhance it by using products on my mane.

I admit to choruses of execration and bouts of consternation on account of the barbers being closed due to this ghastly virus.
