Any mileage in this alledged m Biden bribe story.

Much more likely is that the John Bolton revelations in his new book are all true and will fatally damage Trump, who is already nose-diving after all his recent blunders.

What is puzzling is why Bolton didn't release these during the impeachment. Enough of the non-sycophantic Republican Senators might just have broken ranks to have got rid of him earlier.

Which is why Bolton lacks credibility he wouldn't testify when it mattered but is happy to dish the dirt for money. That doesn't mean he is not telling the truth I have no idea but I suspect the American public will have forgotten him by November he has had his 15 minutes.

As for some of his revelations they are not all bad. Trump tried to persuade the Chinese to buy more agricultural produce and so help him out. Wow what a wicked man sticking up for US farmers I suspect that the voters in those communities will say that behind closed doors Trump was doing what he told then he would do publicly and if he gets any personal benefit out of it fair enough.

Politicians do this all the time. Tony Blair moved tens of thousands of civil service jobs from the south to Labour voting areas in the north. That benefited those areas and did it help him? Of course it did.

Blair did that because it made sense. Those seats were already secure then and politically it was more likely to damage him in the south than help him in the north.

Bolton was present at the meeting and knows what motivated Trump. If you think he ever thinks of others then you are deluded. He is 100% self interest.

Why Bolton held back can have nothing to do with book sales. They would have likely been even bigger during the impeachment. Maybe he didn't want to risk Pence.

He wanted to testify but was banned from doing so by Trump and the GOP. No witnesses were permitted by the Senate Chairman.

A disgruntled ex employee slags off his old boss.

What a shocker.

I didn't say that Trump cares about people I have no idea my point was that politicians do make decisions that will help them and also their supporters it's not always an either or.

I disagree about Blair but I will give you another one Blair allowed in millions of immigrants because he wanted to change the social structure of the country (political ambition) with the added benefit that most of these new voters would be Labour supporters (party ambition).

Bolton is hardly a "disgruntled employee" is he? He has no need for money or attention.

He is 10 times the man Trump is with much more knowledge and experience. He is also a hawk!

The way people attribute false motivations to others as if they are fact never ceases to amaze me. Of course Blair didn't do that! He could see what the economy needed at the time. Trump sees only himself. One is a genuine political leader. One is a self serving demagogue.

Bla bla bla.

He most certainly is a disgruntled employee and the fact that he is prepared to reveal state secrets to exact revenge tells us exactly the sort of man he is.

I'm still wondering if you are staggeringly naive or just deliberately obtuse.
I think Blair was always a 'company man' and opened the flood gates to please his masters but it surely must have dawned on him that it would be good for votes too.

Win win for that scum bag.
