The BBC might be making cutbacks in some departments but they aren’t in others.

So basically my white son, who is straight and lives in a middle class family will have no chance. Oh the fact he is a very talented actor with a degree in Musical Theatre isn’t important. 20%? do the groups mentioned make up 20% of the population? I genuinely do not know. I look forward to the drama series titled “black gangs of London”

I am not surprised although I thought the BBC is the most diverse of all the TV channels. Still I don't count how may "diverse" faces there in are in show so maybe not.

Anyway this is rather like shuffling the deckchairs on the Titanic, the BBC is heading for a big iceberg.

The majority of TV licence payers are "pale and stale" and many are fed up with the output already I doubt a diet of further diversity is going to endear them to he BBC.

It's not racist to be bored of preachy diversity being shoved down your throat all the time, most people just want to be entertained. So here is your new Saturday night diverse line up starting with the news.

- Black News Matter
All the big news stories of the day

- LGBTQ News
All the big news stories of the day

- Why I'm Ashamed To Be White And British
This just used to be called The News but has been re-branded to reflect feelings of middle class liberals. Join out news team to see what crimes white people have committed today against the rest of the population.

- Doctor Who
Nuff said

- Saturday Night Play
Exciting new drama about the lives of ordinary diverse folk as they battle to take down a statue.

- Saturday Night Comedy
30 min diverse comedy show guaranteed not to offend anyone (or raise a laugh)

- Strictly Come World Dancing
The quarter finals, as African tribal dancers take on Latin America's top Samba specialists. (Actually not a bad idea for a dance show). PS. Morris dancing went out in the first round and for once I don't blame the BBC.

- Saturday Night Movie - Batman and Robin
Can Batman finally reveal his true feelings for the Boy Wonder now that Dick has turned 18.

- MOTD
Join Gary and the gang as they review highlights of the day's play in WPL and the Gay league.

If this lot doesn't put you to sleep....

There seems to be a law that Romesh Ranganathan appears at least three times a night. Nothing against him - he seems to be an amiable enough fellow but surely he needs a rest once in a while.

Positive discrimination is not the way forward for this country. Put simply, it rewards mediocrity whilst potentially holding back up and coming talent, purely because of policy. It will cause massive resentment.

It is time for the licence fee to end. We should not have to pay for this service any longer unless of course it becomes an optional pay per view channel and let’s see how popular it is then.

Maybe it is time to start a change.org thingy to end the BBC licensing fee.

Spot on

Pressure needs to be put on the government to stop us funding this piece of far left wing antiqued sh@t.

Strictly Come Limbo Dancing. Seriously, I watched the first series of Yes Minister. Dripping in racism: referring to a 747 hired by an African head of state as a Mumbo Jumbo. Referring to TPLACs (tin pot little African countries). So that'll be gone soon.

I've signed at least 3 of those in the last 10 years.

My previous post is supposed to be a joke but the BBC does need to ask the tough question and so far it doesn't appear to be doing so.

Why are people losing interest and not paying their licence fee?

Unless they answer that question they will eventually lose the licence fee. Year on year the number of people paying for a licence is falling.

Non payment is around 7% and as with any tax e.g. the "Poll Tax" when you hit a tipping point then ordinary law abiding people join in and decide not to pay.

We are not there yet but if the BBC refuses to give the over 75's a free licence I can see that will be the tipping point. Pensioners will refuse to pay and then they will be joined by people like me.

The BBC will sound like North Korean TV claiming it is is wildly popular whilst the public watch grannies being dragged into court and the non payment numbers going through the roof.

Micah Richards saying he respects free speech... really? Why condemn this then? Just a honest question

"Free speech" is under threat as never before thanks to the Left and the Marxists. It has been insidiously and systematically eroded and the erosion will continue if left unchecked.

Organisations are afraid to even question or even criticise the mob rule in London, the defacing of memorials and the vandalising of statues.

Spot on!

However does this mean you won’t criticise us for having a go at referees? Free speech innit
