Interesting full-page advert in the i newspaper yesterday, announcing that they'd won the Good Housekeeping award for "Favourite Supermarket". In the middle of the page are the words "That's the way we like it". Seems a strange thing to say. Could there be a subliminal connection with Palace in the mind of the copy-writer? Perhaps they'd like to do a sponsorship deal with us!

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

A supermarket in Britain is never going to sponsor a football team because there’s no gain from doing so. Most of a supermarket’s market share is due to amount of stores and catchment area. There are still more women shoppers than men, and I can’t think of many or any shops that sponsor football clubs. Brands yes, shops no. Maybe they see it a risk.

Reading?

Inoffensive, non football town Reading don’t count. Add that Waitrose customers aren’t the type to give up their higher quality food and favourite flavour quinoa over football.

Is there a Waitrose in Swindon?
Can't imagine the people of Oxford boycotting Waitrose.

When are we going to boycott Sainsbury's?

Aldi and lidl both pay their staff over £10 per hour, above the going rate and way above minimum wage, i think we should be saluting the germans!
