Yes - If we have decent replacement already lined up
No - If we do not.

This. Dyche if available.

Quite impressed with Burnley’s passing and ball retention. If they had some talent in the fro t row they’d have embarrassed us by halftime.

If Roy has had enough, then a young manager or newbie (Cahill for example) to take over.

After having 3 months probation under Roy.

That was quite common at one time.

Can't see why Dyche would come here, the budget is no better.

Sadly, the thought of another season of the embarrassing dross we see is depressing.

He is truly stuck in his ways, shows no animation at all, uses substitutes unimaginatively and refuses to experiment with youngsters even when now, theoretically, we are safe.

Any ball players we have had have gone and the one that remains, Meyer, is played out of position and with reluctance.

He has persisted with Benteke when younger strikers like Wickham and Sorloth are loaned out.

Yes, he's kept us in the Premier League and that's it.

Parish showed some gumption in getting Frank de Booer in but then chickened out after giving him just 3 games.

The commentators yesterday had a cameo of Tyrone Mitchell who insiders think could be another AWB - seems we will never know under Roy Hodgson.

Like the team Hodgson is too old and should call it a day.

This is the sole objective and he has met it season on season on a limited budget - A Board's dream!
The fact that he has assured our survival is some feat.

Norwich have played more expansive football than us but they will be relegated.Their supporters would far rather be in our shoes!

This to and fros. It depends on what you want. We just do not have the capital to really build a team that can win things or get into Europe.

I can get frustrated with Roy's conservatism, but we know where the Cavalier attitude has got us in the past.

At the end of this season, Hodgson will have kept us up on a 'Shoestring' for 3 seasons.

A club of our stature surviving in the promised land of the PL for successive seasons with a limited spend. Hardly surprising that Hodgson was offered a new contract.
The entertainment value is at a premium but the objective is survival and Hodgson has delivered on this score. He will not be jettisoned by the Board.

That’s the boards primary objective, sure, but it’s not mine as a fan - I miss actually enjoying watching us play.

If it means dropping down, so be it, I’d be prepared to roll the dice.

I cannot remember a time where I enjoyed watching palace less, and that includes the years of playing outside the top flight.

Time to move on.

To the FA cup final and scoring more than 30 goals a season?

There was the customary annual battle against relegation to consider.

We have just had 4 victories consecutively with zero goals against, and middle table respectability.

Why should we spend £600+ a season to satisfy the board’s dream? My dream is to see us score some goals and win a few games, even if it comes at the expense of consistently being supposedly hard to beat.

Near enough every team in the league plays more expansively than us, it’s not a guarantee of anything - Sheff Utd have absolutely torn it up with a vastly inferior squad and budget to ours, playing some brilliant stuff. We had a much softer belly under Pardew but reached a cup final and used to occasionally turn people over 4 or 5-0 at home - why can’t we do it again?

It’s ridiculous to think that after 7 years in the prem this is the best we could dare hope to achieve.

e need to be careful what we wish for the lower leagues are littered with teams that have got ahead of their station. Roy has done a marvellous job on a relative shoestring. He should stay.

Sheff Utd have spent nigh on £62 Mill this season and are only 2 points ahead of us in the league.
