As someone in a more vulnerable group then October seems too soon. Giving up my season ticket after so many years will be a difficult but the lockdown has made me think that I need to get a few more things done from my bucket list.
Also if it's going to be another season of negative tactics or poor investment in the team then that is another reason that I won't be rushing back

If we are allowed to return for the next season but social distancing is still in place ie every other seat to remain empty how will that be sorted if you buy a season ticket.

I cannot recall the last time I travelled on public transport and yes, I am the recipient of a free bus pass!

Even though I am of a 'Ripe' age, 68 in November, I would be perfectly comfortable travelling on a bus or train with a mask.
I have actually considered purchasing a mask with the club logo - can any kind soul inform me where I could possibly attain one from?
I would be delighted walking around Brighton and the south coast proudly displaying our colours!

Please keep us abreast of how this pans out for you.

I am happy to do so.
Woe betide anyone down here who dares to be disparaging about our club or who throws 'grenades' of abuse at me.

It's a no from me.

I'd like to say because we are going to lose every game and get relegated, but I think that every year in my devout committal to extreme pessimism, but also in truth that probably wouldn't stop me going.

I'm not a stickler for rules, so if I wanted to go to Palace or do anything else quite frankly I would if I could regardless of Govt. advice/rules. Equally, I am not going to rush to a football game just because the Govt. says I can. I'll wait for a more substantial green light.

Living in Forest Hill was a different matter, I'd happily pop up the road, but I've moved further out and unless driving don't fancy the 3 hour round trip for what will inevitably be a reduced and/or hampered experience.

My only problem is the season ticket. I can't remember the last season I didn't have one, and they certainly weren't in high demand then. Is it possible to 'drop out' a season and what would my chances be of just picking it up again for 2021/22 season (if we're still in Prem)?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

eagleman13. Sorry if it wasn't clear - all trains from Eastbourne/Brighton stop at Gatwick where all the world and his brother try to get on the already full trains.

esox lucius.

Personally I think it may be every other seat PLUS only every other row to maintain anything like social distancing.

No probs *jack* gathered that after a few more posts, sorry if i appeared to jump down your throat far too quickly.

Agree with people crowding the trains at Gatwick, anyone would think there was an airport nearby

With the vast reduction of flights in and out of Gatwick, this will reduce train passengers but of course the rail operators might reduce services accordingly.

Darned shame that BA are not operating any of their short-haul services to the continent from Gatwick at present and for the foreseeable future.
