anyone know much about him? All I know is his goal record which isn't great, but i imagine he's mainly been used from the bench... anyone seen much of Reading? (Long shot I know!)

I have seen briefly in an academy game and someone I know has seen him play more often for the Reading academy. Is a good athlete and should provide some pace up front - brother Ben is a good young winger for London Irish. One talented family.

Think he is a player who has shown potential but not pushed through as expected. I dont think we can expect too much from him too soon if we do get him. I can't see him pushing for a first team place right away, maybe a few cameo sub appearances. This is an interesting article about him: [Link]

Reported wage Porto are offering works out at 19,200 a week. But they don't have to pay any compensation, where-as we would have to. Guess it comes down to how much we are willing to invest in a potential player.

Probably a good decision for the young man. Let’s face it with Roy’s record it’s difficult to see why any young player would sign for Palace to be stuck playing under 23 football while we filed the same 11 players and bench week in week out.
