We must have the worst transfer negotiators in football. Do we want Eze or not? If we do, why on earth didn't we offer the extra few million and get it done and dusted? At least, reading between the lines, the Spammers may have to get the Anderson sale done first before they buy (hopefully) so we may have time to rectify our stupidity.

ALL press reports often have a SINGLE, dubious origin. It's click-bait, designed to drive traffic to their sites to gain ad revenue. The more clubs you link to a player, the more clicks.

It’s annoying how often Palace , end up being nothing more than bait. If Palace , have a real interest in Eze, it’s not in QPR s interests to embarrass them , with a public refusal , unless they are viewed only as bait. More likely is the idea that the media like to depict Palace , being embarrassed by public rejection.

Eze looks a real talent but he seems to have a free role at QPR as most maverick type players should have. I just hope Roy doesn't play him wide right with intructions to cover the full back in his rigid system. His flair would be wasted if that is the case

Like with Saint-Maxim last summer, you can see the lad has that something special. If Zaha goes it is important we sign someone like Eze as we are never going to have a team of superstars, but having at least one magician makes those games where we have 20% possession that bit more bearable for that brief glimpse of something special. I know it's YouTube, but watch this 7 minutes and tell me you don't feel excited at the prospect of us signing him [Link] I read that we initially offered 8m + 4m in add-ons. If that's true that really is a pi$$ take and could make it hard for us to have reasonable dialogue with QPR. Of course that could be BS on the part of Sky Sports.

We put a bid in for Eze which we know will be rejected but it shows our interest. Meanwhile if Brentford lose tonight our main target Watkins will become available but we will be beaten to the punch by West Ham as usual. We will then return to Eze who tells us to get lost. We will then end up like a married man who mistress ditches him and when his wife finds out ditches him also. Net result Danny Welbeck

I hope we sign him and the other QPR lad (Samuel). Would give us options through the middle and out wide who've got the pace and trickery to get us further up the field. It'll soften the blow for when Wilf finally departs. I get nervous every time we don't just announce a signing... when it plays out we always seem to get gazumped. Roll on Ibe and Welbeck on deadline day!
