I want a few more goals, better home form, a bit more entertainment and 50 to 60 points, I don’t give a monkey’s what the kits look like

As I never buy one, as a 60 something, I concur with your sentiments but do understand the views expressed.

My birthday falls near the start of the season, every year funny enough and if I’m really unlucky someone will buy me one as a pressie.

As Danny Baker once said “Crystal Palace and their horrible thunderbirds kits”

They're dreadful & probably the worst kit we've had since the bumble bee kit for the cup final replay!Cant see many being bought by fans

Parish is a supporter. He just sent out a memo to some Chinese manufacturers asking what kits with something like our colours would be the cheapest.

It's just a kit, and I've seen better, but it feels like too many people just want to slag off everything about the club at the moment. Lets face it there's only so many variations on a theme you can come up with.

There's always Man City with their pink and yellow offering if you don't like the Palace kits.

Or we could just go back to the sash as most supporters have been asking for the last eight seasons. People are entitled to an opinion, this one will hit the club's finances as few will want it.
How much more would we sell with the sash, for example?

Of course people are entitled to their opinions but, as I said, it feels like there are a lot of negative opinions expressed about virtually everything.

Mine is that they are not any worse or any better than most of the offerings over the last few years and as I'm a slightly overweight middle aged man, and my son is a teenager who thinks replica kits are naff I wont be buying anyway.

My last recall of a sash home kit was around 1987 and I'm not sure you can honestly say that the majority of fans want that ? There have also been variations on it as the away kit in recent seasons.

I've seen plenty of sh1t kits but don't think these are that bad and the home one is similar to quite a nice kit we had in the late seventies.

I am saying the majority of fans want the sash. Just from the vibe I have had from these boards for the last ten years. But you are entitled to your opinion on kits too. Of course, it's pretty subjevtive: there are going to be fans who like these kits. I don't.
When the club do a kit I like, I buy it. Like the black away one from a couple of seasons ago. I'm middle aged too and don't even wear them to the matches. Mainly because I don't want to spill beer all over them. They are quite expensive after all.
Sometimes I buy the kit at the end of the season, when it is sold at a large discount. I will wager this, there will be plenty of this season's shirts available at the end of the season.

The black sash was the last kit I bought as well but only wore it twice as i thought I looked a bit of a c0ck.

So apparently the club used the designs from some fan on instagram.
Thats was SP said, and we've all seen the detail posted earlier.

What a wasted opportunity.

If it's possible and OK to use a design from a supporter, why not open it up to the fanbase and make a competition?

Can you imagine the enthusiasm and participation that could have generated. Then we'd all be vested in the new kits.

Missed a great opportunity. Especially in these difficult times when we can't see our team play, etc.
