Therein lies the conundrum for those of us mature(ing) in years.
AS to your question, it depends whether you are classed as shielding or not. If you are then for £200 you can secure your seat for the 21/22 season. Otherwise, at present, it seems not.

What I'd like to know is:
1. How many ST holders are there?
2. what's the likely capacity going to be?
3. What will the rules re attendance going to be? No singing? No cheering? How much like a morgue is Selhurst Park going to feel. We people of mature(ing) age don't want to sample a morgue before our time!

I plan to wait till nearer the deadline before deciding to see what kind of reaction the club get and whether they give further info or make any adjustments to this initial release.

Capacity: 25,486
Season Tickets: 17,500

I came across this as per following article.

They shouldn't be selling season tickets at all.
Do they expect supporters to pay for a season ticket, without knowing what games they might see , if any, or where they might be sitting ?
Scrap season tickets, instead of renewing, sell tickets for individual matches,so fans can get to see a set number of matches.
Season ticket renewals can be held over for the 21-22 season, with people retaining their seats.

Whilst feeling sorry for those who cannot afford to renew under the terms being offered, i think the club have announced a reasonable way forward, i suppose one slight change would have been to offer half season tickets, at least the initial outlay would have been less, and depending how many games attended the second instalment would have been less, apart from that i am renewing anyway,

It's disappointing.

The fact they want full payment and will reimburse at the end of the season, when they have accumilated the intrest on roughly £9 million sitting in the bank does not sit well.

The rough maths says you will probably at best get offered a ticket 1 out of every 3 games at best.

On that basis I don't see why they can't just take payment per game?

I know that the £150 I am getting back next May would be a lot more useful in my account now.

The more I think about this the more it p@sses me off.

Club have a bloody liberty charging us for a whole season when we are going to watch a third of the games, if lucky.

I know they will repay us for the games we miss! However business does not work like that.

What about if you cannot make a game they pick for you. Can you sell your place. What if I elect not to attend any games. Will I get back the 14 or so games I wasnt invited to which incidentally would enable me to reserve next years ticket for 130 so in that respect £2.50p per week to do that isnt bad imo. Not that you should have to but I dont really want to lose my future options.

As I mentioned in a previous post about this. I am 72 years old and have supported Palace since I was 5 years old. I travel to all the home games from Birmingham and attend a large percentage of the away games. Does this mean that if the Government say I cant attend the matches I shall loose my seat or am I expected to buy a season ticket just to retain the seat for the following seasons, provided the Virus is over by then.

That's a brilliant point.
They shouldn't be bothering with season tickets this season, the situation is so volatile at the moment, supporters seats should be held for the 21-22 season.
But the powers that be can only see £ signs.

Will this be the same system used last 2 seasons of the Rip Off resale site where they deduct the price of the game you want to resale, but they charge a selling fee deducted from your pro-rata season ticket price BUT then sell at full price, making much more Money!!

Re Season tickets allocations
"If you cannot attend a particular match you’ve been allocated a seat for, your ticket can potentially be sold to another Season Ticket holder or Member via the club’s resale system (only)"

Probably, but that’s at the match ticket price rather than the season ticket price divided by 19.
