He wouldn’t have been top of my list but we badly need a striker and he will have to do. Loan for a season is best option with him.

Personally I prefer the route we are currently taking, bringing in youth to gradually replace older players as the season progresses. Taking Gallagher means a lower loan fee, and continues our good relationship with Chelsea, which may pay forward in the future.

It's a no from me for Bats. We can't afford to pay 100k a week and a loan fee. That will kill off any chance of getting anyone else in. He did OK last time around but we need to move on and start building our own team.
