YOU are exactly the type and reason why we and people here and there get walked all over. How many civic liberties were you happy to give away? Would you be ok for wine and any alcohol to be banned throughout the winter like it has been in South Africa, along with fags, to make sure nobody gets invited round to someone’s house?

You’re effectively sticking up for 2 billionaires and however many multi millionaires to use fans for an interest free loan rather than their own money, which incidentally they didn’t themselves anyway after borrowing money from a bank down under wasn’t it? They’re taking the p1ss and it’s typically lazy, incompetent Palace and now Prem level arrogon their part. They probably don’t have anyone in-house who can extract from their own database or even reduce amounts. I bet if they reduced it to a more reasonable percentage to watch 25% of matches people may have not been as bothered. £500? Times 2? Plus kids? Seriously?

Well said, Rudi. 100% agree.

You think that’s freedom. Good luck for the future.

Rudi, I agree with you that CPFC’s approach is expensive. My partner is a Leicester season ticket holder and their process is much better. They credit their account and for every game, money is deducted. If there is no credit, they can’t enter a ballot. She has credited her account with £70.00. Well below the figures we have to pay.

However, there is ‘Freedom’ and in your opinion ‘unreasonable’. Your not contractually obliged to pay the £500-£800 or the holding fee of £200. The price has been set by the club and that’s it. They are not making any of us pay these sums. They done make us buy any shirts, hats....ANYTHING. You have the freedom to walk away and spend your hard earned money on things more reasonable.

I know it's likely that we won't all get to many if any games but the monies left over will go to 21/22 seasons renewal so am ok with it all & fees aren't that bad considering there's not any price increase anyway.

Coyp!

Trouble is, what if you don’t want to renew in 21/22. What if you find sitting with five thousand fans utter s***e and do t want to renew.

You have then sp@ked any refund.

You do understand the difference between customer loyalty and fan loyalty and club owners taking liberties with the latter?

Because people sit back and pay up is why they take the piss.

I wasn’t interested in going anyway so was in a way making way for someone who does. Charging people for that by mega wealthy people is unacceptable.

However, the price is the price. If what is on offer is unreasonable, you don’t have to buy a season ticket. Also, regarding the pay monthly instalments. Again, paying interest on anything is not ideal. But if that is the rate....it’s the rate. You can still pay up in full at 0%,

We have such a complaining culture. Parish is not saying YOU HAVE TO BUY A SEASON TICKET. The club sets the price and if you don’t like it or you think it’s too expensive, you don’t buy one and you can move on. It’s simple.

The club has already taken money and processed ST. It’s unlikely to change its approach as it would involve refunding or amending all the fans who have already paid.

What a terrible attitude.

I expect the club is getting a commission or share of interest on finance deal.

We are customers not fans, unless you are in a group that SP decides to treat differently.

I have seen nothing from " the singing section " about the ST's, doesn't mean it's not there, just that I have missed it.I wonder if they are being treated differently in ST renewal process

At the reluctance of high-jacking this thread, there is no definitive evidence to suggest this was not 'man-made', but that equally doesn't mean it was a deliberate leak. In fact, leading scientists who aren't backed by political donations have said the most LIKELY circumstance is that it was artificially tampered with in a lab. The best example being the artificial insertion of certain proteins in the cell. Please don't be so dismissive, and spread false information in a time where we're already inundated with such.

Onto the Palace topic, really is a shame the way the club has handled it. The best way to solve would be through a circulated petition that garners signatories from people with clout. Sadly, I still don't see the club budging... The Parish profit vehicle chugs on

You're right this topic isn't about SARS-CoV-2 but what you said falls in the same category of antivacination conspiracy. By the way if you want chat about virology, genetic strands, and ribosomal transcription I would be delight. Plus if you're interested I can recommend a list of good articules and scientific investigation about this issue. This is a zoonotic disease has many others.

In all likelihood I was probably nearby watching the likes of David Giles and Steve Lovell.

The point I make though mate is what happens if you either don’t want to or can’t afford to renew for the 21/22 season. I’m presuming you then lose your money owed

Of course I understand the difference. However fan loyalty and customer loyalty is still a personal choice. It’s not contractual or a law. Lots of huge profit making companies or owners are greedy and charge over and beyond what they should.

You appear to love this quote as you've used it on other threads.

5000 fans back then wasn't the norm and there were away fans too and you could be with your mates and jump, sing, hug and kiss if you wanted but it'll be a sterile atmosphere now.

That's not the usual Selhurst experience like it has been since I started going in '72 and was long before that so your quote is not correct.

Check the crowd stats for '79 to '90 I've attached, don't forget there are away fans in those figures so even less than 5k Palace at 1 or 2 fixtures.
