I put this to the CP Box Office who told me 'a letter from my GP stating my current health position' would be acceptable as medical proof for the Shielding option. I hope this may help some of you out there!

What a shocking waste of a GP's time. You will also be charged for a letter as this is not an NHS service

We’re not even in a shielding period.

Would you lose your Parish points if your season ticket lapsed for a year? Surely your account would still be open so that you Could buy match day tickets (if available) and merchandise.

When they changed the system for disabled tickets 3 years ago I lost my points so had to buy a membership to get them back and I have done so now for the other two seasons.

This season there is no Silver option so I had to stump up £55 for Gold instead of the usual £25, another £30 they club have made us pay.

At least this way I may get to a home game or 2 this season, as going with my son is not possible due to his condition, as I am not an abuser of the disability system that I know some people abuse hence my membership payment every year on top of paying for my sons season ticket.

doesn't apply to sporting events which have passed the Covid safety tests.

Doncaster race course has just been told the remainder of its St Leger meeting must now be behind closed doors from tomorrow, after being told they would be able to let limited punters in.

Mark my words.

Did you explain to them your condition, albeit you may not want to go into full details with box office staff.

They did not ask me for any proof of my sons condition, even though I had bought his IPP letter and explained the situation to them that he is not 'shielding', it's his condition that will be affected as change to routine is a major thing with severe autism and not guaranteeing his specific seat and some changes in routine with going to matches will cause him too much anxiety which I am not prepared to allow the club to put on him.

The ticket office worker even asked their manager how to put it in the system so I paid up, they were very helpful and understanding.

I hope I don't get a letter or email retracting this as I will go to war over it. Unfortunately I have had no contact back from Pam Groves, who to give her her due is very very helpful normally, but I assume this is because she is inundated with calls and emails from people in similar circumstances to myself.

I'd chase this up if I were you as there are plenty of contradictions because there were 2 others opting out for this season whilst I was there as they weren't shielding but still 'didn't feel comfortable due to their age and health' and they appeared to be given what they asked for.

Good luck

And this meeting was to be a gauge of future events so there we have it!

Another lockdown is again looming so I hope that if football is held back from all fans then those of us that have paid the £200 and those who have paid up in full, my eldest has renewed his but didn't want to but isn't able to reserve, get the money back that has been paid and not get it held towards the 21/22 season

Can anyone help? Trying to renew my wife's and my season ticket. I log in follow the link and only my ticket for renewal is visible. My wife is recorded as family and doesn't have her own account.

Thanks I've tried that route and no joy. In all the other years I just log on tick my ticket and the wife's pay and job done. This club always seems to complicate things. been on the phone for over an hour to the box office. Tempted to give up and save the money

Some movement from the club - a good sign. Will they make any further concessions? I suspect they hope that allowing all us over 65s to secure our seat for 21/22 simply by reason of our age will get us oldies onside. It's a start.

Unprecedented demand for STs might mean "we've never had so poor a take up since we got back into the PL".

If you can visit the ticket office you can do the whole transaction in five minutes.
