If we do indeed have a new striker then I think we will finish 15-18th. We have strengthened but so have a lot around us. I expect us to score more goals (surely) but also concede more. Sheffield United, West Brom. and Fulham to be relegated. Man City to win the title. It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Entirely dependent on what happens between now and the end of the transfer window. If Zaha stays and we can bring in a couple more then I don’t see any reason why we can’t finish comfortably mid table.

14 points from first 8 games last season

Won 4 (including beating Man U)
Drew 2 (Everton & Wolves)
Lost 2 (Sheffield & Spurs)

Would be more than happy with that start this season

Our injury list is terrible. No fans in the grounds giving no atmosphere exposes our lack of technique and blunts our great spirit which got us through in the past. On the plus side: we are addressing the age of the team. We still have time for maybe one or two more players. I have been wrong for each of the last 7 seasons. I think 19th.

Has Roy got enough left in the tank to get us over the line?
Our key players are yet another year older and the team are part way through a transition.
Our injury list is terrible.
No fans in the grounds giving no atmosphere exposes our lack of technique and blunts our great spirit which got us through in the past.

we are addressing the age of the team.
We still have time for maybe one or two more players.

I have been wrong for each of the last 7 seasons.
