On 9/11 I was watching Sky news in the British Club Islamabad, our lives there changed for ever that day. Having said that, Islamabad was still very safe but hysteria fuelled by the media, led to the school closing and families being evacuated.

RIP.

I worked for Citibank and we had a North American Reinsurance department we worked closely with the brokers and Reinsurers in London and their opposite numbers the other side of the pond. I used to go to the US to see them once a year and often worked in the twin towers as many of them were based there. A sad day.

Nothing to do with Islam though? As Obama said, terrorism has less to do with Islam than any other religion. So all those Quakers should feel thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
