Interesting to read backWard-Prowsehole justifying his antics against Iceland by saying he and his Saints' teammates have been encouraged by Hasenhüttlhosenyodeleyhoo to become tougher and to practice the darker arts. Given the slagging off he's had in the press I wonder if he will tone it down this weekend? Personally I would tell the players to all point and laugh at WP every time he acts like a toddler, rather than rising to it. He would soon feel like a sad tw*t then.

I see an 0-2 loss. Another hangover from our finish to last season. Southampton's style of play is the worst for us. They press constantly, and we can't pass the ball to save our lives. Expect us to have the ball taken away constantly. That's how it was against them last year, and we're likely to have pretty much the same (or worse) lineup this match. I'm not expecting to see play Eze at all. Maybe Bats. Roy isn't one to "rush" anyone into the starting 11.

With such an abysmal end to last season the team have something to prove ... i.e. they are not really a bunch of unfit, overpaid, useless to$$ers! Palace win.

The first game is always unpredictable and our record against the Saints isn’t great, so with that in mind we will kick their arses 3-1...

Depends on how the ref plays and what he lets wp get away with. Not just Wilf but Eze too for them to kick. 1-1 or 2-1 if the ref clamps down early. He's not the only one and at times last season they were almost the best away side in the league lots of the big clubs really struggled with them, all depends with how much space we allow them today, last time we beat them at home was with Alan Pardew I think 3-0 not long before he got the boot.

He'd revel in that though wouldn't he and that would affect Zaha even more considering he will be the main target, I'd just kick him in the head and be done with it.
