A good week for labour with the end of the corrupt tory rail franchising system. It was such a con even they got tired of it. Where are the benefactors of all that public largesse? Gone with the taxpayers money.

I know what you mean; I will disgust you by telling you that I was always Labour. However, since the days of Blair I have been essentially disenfranchised. I also dislike the looney left like Corbyn. The Tories of MacMillan, Heath, Major, and even Cameron I empathised with. I am, and always have been, on the centre right. So when Blair occupied that ground I empathised with him too. A Police and institutional apologist for inaction that enabled thousands of white and some Sikh girls to be raped for decades....a guy who said they knew this was happening decades ago. An official investigation commissioned later by Starmer criticised both prosecutors and police for their handling of the allegations. And we have Starmer to thank for instituting the right to review of a CPS decision.

An official investigation commissioned later by Starmer criticised both prosecutors and police for their handling of the allegations.

And we have Starmer to thank for instituting the right to review of a CPS decision.
