Makes sense to back out of the Brewster option. This is one of the few things the wise men of Holmesdale seem to agree on! About Sarr, I think we should whisper under our breath- too good to come true! But there are two more weeks to see what happens. Benrahma is a real talent, so to have him on our books by 16th would be great.

According to roy theres no dialogue between us and Brentford regarding benrahma. Also feels we are well covered in that department. So cant see us paying 20m+ unless wilfs going...which again from Roy's press conference seems unlikely.

I think a lot of these rumours were probably caused in case Wilf actually left,and we were testing the water to see what deals we could do in regards Replacements ie Beranama &Sarr

Many signings predicted weeks ago by those claiming to be ITK, but as the window closes shortly,apart from EFL,what marks do we give out of 10,to SP & Co.I suppose we signed two strikers we desperately needed,so perhaps not too bad.Is 7/10 being too kind??

I've only heard about one (Batshùayi). What other striker have we signed? From my understanding we have only signed Ferguson, Eze, and Batman...

Who are these players who have done little over last few years, Wickham and Benteke ffs back to square one. Didn’t he say similar last summer and played the same players into the ground

When does the Winter window open??? I don’t mean this as a dig at all but it’s not looking good on these deals we have been led to believe were nailed on. Just wondering whether the Winter window may be closer than usual so we might be willing to wait a little longer for the right player or the right price? It was odd when Roy said today about Benrahma “who knows what Brentford are thinking” which is an odd comment because surely what Brentford are thinking only matters when we have made a bid of some sort. I mean...Brentford can’t just decide they wanted to sell him and therefore we have to buy him. It’s a two way dialogue that needs to take place.

I'll put my not ITK against your ITK and see who comes out best. We wont sign Benrahma by monday. If and it's a very big if in my opinion we do buy him it will be the very last day of the window.

I’m not in the know what so ever but I said after we signed bats on loan that was our business done since then clyne has been training and since he has I said he might be given a contract and if so that will be all our summer business done

What at one stage looked like it may be a transfer window where we addressed issues is now beginning to look like one where we have not done enough to address an ageing squad. One exciting signing, a loan and a player who looks like we won't see this side of Christmas due to injury. Plenty of players whose contracts expire and plenty who are getting old. I would think we have enough to do okay this season, but next could require a major overhaul. I hoped we would have had the vision to address a lot of that now.

I hope you are right but it does not sound like Roy is in the loop on this. Perhaps he just sees Benrahma as a replacement for Wilf if he goes.
