You think by bringing on 2 defensive midfielders to replace 2 defensive midfielders is going to stop us getting swamped or improve service?

It wasn’t difficult to spot what the problem was, but yet again instead of reacting whilst things were still level, Roy just seems content to hope we will scrape through the match without changes. It’s this nonsensical sticking to plan “A” which kills us if it fails.

1st half i thought we did ok 2nd half we could win even mistake i wouldn't have changed anything but when 2nd goal went in we needed to have a go.the 2 subs hodgson made were poor.if sole ambition of crystal palace is to stay up ive got no complaints but let that be reflected in what they charge us.

All we did first half was not let a goal in. That is not enough to be classed as ok. It was like having a noose round your neck and waiting for the chair to be kicked away. That game was only ever going in one direction.

Until Roy leaves we will not see a change in style. He is incapable of change. The subs were a disgrace, love to know his thinking behind what he thought they would add to recovering the game. His like for like subs are nauseating. He will get us through the season, we’ll get a few wins and the overwhelming feeling will be one of frustration and apathy again. Horrible feeling he is going to be detrimental to Ezes development with us. I detest Roy’s brand of football when we see performances like today. we are screaming out for some creativity centrally in midfield. Edited by MonsterMunch (03 Oct 2020 5.05pm)
