Agreed, don't try and be clever and make pin point passes out of defence all the time. Show him some footage of Damien Delaney playing for us!

Especially Damos party trick the long diagonal

Must have seen it a couple of hundred times. Once, I couldn't believe my eyes: we actually got the ball.

Sakho is our best ever centre back. If you can’t see that you don’t really get football. One mistake today that got cruelly punished. The pen doesn’t count as Ayew was fouled in the build-up. Sakho’s passing, strength and ability to read danger and snuff it out are superb and it is a joke how much hate he gets.
Palace’s CBs ranked in order:
1 Sakho
2 Tomkins
3 Kouyate
4 Dann
5 Cahill
6 Kelly

Your specialist subject for Mastermind must be "Starting Arguments in Empty Rooms". Because it clearly isn't Football.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..

I will have whatever it is your smoking....must be pretty strong stuff.

Be interesting to see these 6 ranked in order of percentage of games fit for selection.

Maguire was so s*** for Manure against Spuds I thought he was doing some kind of Sakho homage.

Pray for Tomkins or Cahill to be selectable soon.

Sakho is simply IMO lazy, always happy to have games off for the slightest reason, generally gets " hurt " in closing weeks of season as holidays approach.

This season he is noticeably slower and looks overweight compared to last year.

Madness. He’s a complete time bomb. He’s pretty decent most of the time but the fact he has a major error which causes a goal roughly 1 in 3 appearances makes him a major liability.

He’ll be dropped once Cahill and Tompkins are fit.

To call him our ‘best ever centre back’ is either a wind up or laughable. You can never relax or feel confident when he’s in the team as you’re expecting a cock up

I agree completely. I’l be a happy man when he is gone. He has got to be the slowest player in the whole division coupled with the fact that he actually thinks he can play football. The chap looks like a 4 year old playing football in his mother’s high heels.

he lacks concentration and this shows with a big mistake every 3 or 4 games.

On Sat twice he gave the ball away in our box and both resulted in goals and even for the Zouma goal he was nowhere. As he got a jump on him in the first half from a set piece to let it happen again was really poor.

This is why a big club won't touch him.

Combine this with a poor injury record and massive wages makes him a liability. But he is our liability!!!

It's the 'possession lost' (5th out of 5) and 'errors leading to goals' (4th out of 5) that make him a liability. He is after all a defender and whilst he may have won more tackles etc. than the others, those 'wins' don't compensate for the above 'losses' IMO.

These big signings can bring quality and results for a while but over the length of their contract or time at the club they don’t and can be poor value. But our scouting was non existent so that’s why we’ve gathered an ageing and expensive squad, paying them a bit more to come here and not somewhere else a lot of the time.

You can't be carried to a Champions League win and multiple PL wins at centre half, that's complete nonsense. Cahill captained Chelsea to the 16/17 title with Terry barely playing for a start.

If Sakho was that good on a consistent basis he wouldn't have been kept out of the Liverpool team by Martin Skrtel, competing with an ageing Kolo Toure and needing to be replaced by Dejan Lovren.

If Sakho played to his full potential, he wouldn't be at Palace. As it is, he's behind Cahill and Tomkins in the pecking order.
