How do you even begin to justify 4 shots, 0 on target with a decent squad now? I’d like to see it tried, be a good laugh

I went to school with him. Our sportsmaster was very negative!

So did I, only had a couple of double sports lessons with him. What PE lessons ( football) he did take, us kids at the time had to organise ourselves in my opinion he didn’t really seen that interested to be honest.

It doesn't take £90m to mix up the tactics with what you've got.
2-0 down what to do? The RH solution: swap like for like in the hope that it remains 2-0, oblivious to the fact that keeping the same tactical formation is what has lead to the team being 2-0 down and having no shots on target. Things being as they are, the score ends up 4-0. Some nice mathematical symmetry there methinks.
How about: more direct / go long / have a crack from distance / play for corners / play players in their natural positions / change the formation / make the opposition defence earn their days pay by making them make decisions they don't want to (pretty much like Sahko and the rest who are under constant pressure, hence the errors) - in other words try something different. From 2-0 to 4-0 down...

I posted before about the Chelsea tactics of stopping us play with cynical fouls and I still say that was one of the reasons we looked bad on the day, Chelsea did a great job on us and then Sakho did a great job for them, we need to see how our team performs against Brighton in the nesxt game to really see how we perform against a side we can have some fun with and they with us, Chelsea is a silly club to get upset about when on form and especially when we have Mr Hodgson being Mr Hodgson.

According to that report we made £18m from Sorloth is that correct? Good business if we did.

Yes, although I suspect the money may have been paid to us but we probably had to share some with the Turkish club?

In which case they should have used the net figure.

You don't think Brighton are going to stop us by using cynical fouls

Look at last season's game at Brighton,it will follow that pattern in my view. I would love to think that Cahill would be fit.

Speaking of BHA, since they have been in the Premier league, we have won, drawn, and lost at home, and away, once each in league games. So any toys getting thrown out the pram if we lose our next game against them is purile. Expecting to win is deluded given the record.
