I agree he looks a real prospect - direct and good vision. Also very impressed with his post match interview - came across as single minded and very driven. Really refreshing to hear a young lad with such a good mentality.

Roy likes him. Recently read an article saying he doesn't want to send him on loan which means he is fringe first team squad. If he is that good then I would stray away from Benrahma and look at spending whatever money we have on a striker. This of course assumes we are not losing Wilf in which case he would need to be replaced as well.

Do parent loan clubs ever pay smaller clubs to play their players?

Pay, say, Wycombe £4 per second per league match that he plays, when fit, but they pay us £1 per second when he doesn't (if fit). Numbers just to give the picture.

Wycombe get money, and a player we clearly want to invest in, we get a player with 40 championship games under his belt.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

Banks seems to be developing very quickly into an excellent wide player. Doesn't look far off a position in the first team squad?

Maybe worth a place on the bench on Sunday, seems to be a bit like Billy Gilmour at Chelski

It would be good if he, and indeed Ferguson when fit, got some first team exposure in the not too distant future. It would make us look a better prospect to other young talent if they could see youth getting a chance at Palace - not something we have seen a great deal of since our return to the Prem.

That's more to do with the youth being sub standard, wan bissaka and Mitchell have both been elevevated in when the time was right,

Possibly, but AWB and Mitchell weren't really elevated "when the time was right" in terms of their own development, but by the necessity of a defence seriously depleted by injuries. Would Mitchell be playing if PvA hadn't picked up an injury?

Sure he would have more chance of a first team run out from roy if he was a defenside midfielder

Maybe his rapid development is the reason why we haven't gone in for Benrahma. Why spend £20m-£30m when we could have a player here that could the same job and it would hinder his development.

The club maybe thinking that there are other positions that are more of a priority as long as he continues to develop.

Other positions to think about or to fill?
