Yes it is racist and therefore unacceptable but this doesn’t happen all that much, it is not happening to the same extent that ethnic minorities experience racism or discrimination. Also isn’t positive discrimination unlawful?

Racial discrimination has been illegal since 1965. Doesn’t seem to have made much difference does it?

Well clearly any complaint falls on deaf ears if your white. If you complain if you arnt white you will get all the attention needed to prove you are correct. As for how much it goes on is irrelevant as one event either way is one too many.

It's one thing for them all to take the knee but a lot of them (including a few Palace players) also raise a clenched fist which is a black power salute,so therefore racist.

Division on skin colour on not helpful to our society.

For example, the number of coloured players for Palace, compared to the percentage of population ?

The situation is ridiculous. And it's the high-earning people of colour who are complaining,...WTF ?

How is it racist? It was originally used to show the struggle for civil rights. It doesn’t mean other races are inferior to blacks

It was originally used by French insurrectionists in the 1840’s and was adopted during the Spanish civil war.

I realise that and agree with it but the point I was making was in relation to one of your earlier posts so I was saying that the racism and discrimination that white people face is not as much as ethnic minorities

So because we have some players that are black, there isn’t a need to protest about racism?

Shifty, I appreciate that it will be very difficult to be all encompassing with this answer, but what are the things that cause you a concern with regard to racism in this country. Not the world as a whole, this country?

I meet many many black Caribbean, African, Indian, pakistani etc etc on a regular basis. I never had a problem or an issue with any of them and count many as friends as do they me.

You keep saying that there is persistent racism experienced by (presumably your sector of the community) that you have to put up with. Please elaborate because I just don't see it. I didn't see or experience it in any of the workplaces I was in (private sector and public sector), I don't see it at the pubs or at the Palace.

Look, I know there are some out there that are still inherently racist people, but to be honest there are a lot of BAME people that don't like white people either and given a chance they will be racist towards them, so lets not get too carried away that this is a non-existent issue. However in the main, this country is the most tolerant of all people, regardless of skin colour, or wherever they are from, of any country in the world.

What is your recent experience of racism and why do you think it needs such microscopic attention in this country?

Just saying blacks experience far more racism than whites doesn't really answer anything.
