I am not even going to bother discussing with you because yet again you know better than anyone. I am content that my diet is more healthy than eating processed meat or meat reared in a factory farm environment. I eat very little Quorn as most is not suitable for Vegans. As a matter of interest why is everything you disagree with, nonsense?

I don't have the slightest problem with you holding another opinion and am happy that you believe your diet is healthier. Many diets are healthy, but an awful lot more than just diet is needed to ensure good health. The is nothing intrinsically unhealthy about processed meat, or any other food. The importance of processing is to minimise waste and to ensure the world gets fed. There is nothing more unhealthy than hunger. Factory farming is another issue entirely which brings in all kinds of separate arguments.

Not everything I disagree with is nonsense, but some things are. Hanssen's book being one. It was predicated on a completely false assertion which did a huge amount of harm, causing a generation untold anxiety about the food they ate.

The vote has resulted in a defeat for the farmers.

Well, fancy.

Just a Mickey Mouse vote to help the French emasculate their farmers for a while.

Arable or Livestock farmers?

The biggest issue in rules like this isn't the over reach of the EU but its the amount the EU spend debating this crap.

As with wonkie veg, I couldn't really care less about the outcome, the question is about how much time and effort it took some of the highest paid politicians in the continent to discuss it.

They should rename it as inedible!
