Apart from winning there were some other positives in that game. Reidewald didn't put a foot wrong (let's hope he isn't injured), Wilf was at his best, Townsend played well and Kouyate looks very comfortable in the centre of defence.

I'm not taking anything away from a very good performance... In particular Townsend and Reidewald were superb... But we played a very poor side and wont play a worse team than that this season. However, a win is a win and it was badly needed.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Not much could be done about a goal as good as that for Fulham, and overall a very good performance and result. I know Fulham are a bad side in terms of points on the board, but actually they looked decent today, and not the pushovers the table suggests.

14 shots 10 on target - that's more like it. Never looked like we were in trouble. Their late goal was a good strike, l don't blame the keeper. But peops, it was Fulham.
I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything. |
