I'm not taking anything away from a very good performance... In particular Townsend and Reidewald were superb... But we played a very poor side and wont play a worse team than that this season.

However, a win is a win and it was badly needed.

Tend to agree with this. Yes we played ok, several great individual performances and yes we did the business, but it all felt a bit like playing Norwich last year.

After last weeks debacle, this was needed & welcome. Now, the stream i was watching, not one of our players had a smile on their faces as they came off. What was the spat between Bats & Wilf at the final whistle & why did the players not seem happy to Roys handshakes/fist bumps?

I still think we were too slow at the start and they hit the post twice which meant we could have been 2-0 down. So that puts a diff slant on it.
Anyway was a better performance but why let them AGAIN have all the possession early on ???

Riedewald is rapidly becoming my favourite player. I thought he was the one bright point from last week and was excellent today.

Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Yep agree they were a bit slow at the start, however you would expect that from the home team and at the end of the day its the win that was important so lets all have good and happy weekend!

Haven’t watched much of Fulham this year but in the pre-match they were saying that Fulham like to play possession football and we seem happy to concede it. I’m not particularly happy about it myself, but that is the way we play.

Brilliant win against a team that haven't won this season.

Apart from winning there were some other positives in that game. Reidewald didn't put a foot wrong (let's hope he isn't injured), Wilf was at his best, Townsend played well and Kouyate looks very comfortable in the centre of defence.

When teams attack us we tend to let them stroke the ball around and we use our positional play to stop them, today Townsend didn't let them do it when anyone came near him which was wonderful to watch especially as the game progressed, in the Chelsea game they were able to get stuck in on us in the same way Townsend played today and the same can be said for the Brighton game, Fulham created many opportunities but were unable to take advantage of them fortunately for us ..but we allow teams to attack too openly, I really hope Townsend has a word with everyone and tell them this is what you do, he was bloody excellent today.

I do understand, but it's better to win the game, even if we do concede possession, so let's all be happy!
