Embarrassing voting for a party who turn out to be an absolute sh*tshow, isn’t it? No wonder you don’t want any scrutiny.

It's even worse now, they are turning to the tories themselves.

Johnson has made the worst decisions of his political life over the last few days. Losing Cummings means he loses any kind of real intellect. Its a return to service as normal.

Expect a full on Brexit betrayal in the next few days. Might not even surprise me to see another extension signed and then a full on 'Brexit Light' deal.

Oh well, the Reform party it is now.

It's been overdue for many, many months. Someone like Cummings ought never be near the levers of power. He is a populist's ad man. Someone who can work out what appeals to Mail and Sun readers. Is it a co-incidence that this has boiled up just as Biden is about to replace Trump? Probably but a change of direction is now more than ever needed.

Let's hope another extension results so we can concentrate on the pandemic and not on unnecessarily rushed new import rules and border chaos. Then we can quietly negotiate a new arrangement in the light of the changed realities in the USA.

Farage in a third coming? He was awful in the first two but now has the legacy of Trump's failure, and his support for him, around his neck. Good luck with that.

If we are betrayed over Brexit then a s***-storm breaks. And no more voting tactically. No more standing people down against Tories. If they betray us I would rather see them destroyed, even if it means a Labour Government. At least Labour gave up making the pretence of being willing to honour the Brexit vote.

So you didn’t vote for Labour then?

Why do you there will be chaos at the border? Do you know something my wife doesn’t? Pray tell as she works at the Border and will need your steer obviously. FYI BF have had contingency plans in place for over 1 year but of course you must know that. EU Citizens will continue to use the egates as will citizens of many other countries including the US

No. Many people have already seen the light and are far too concerned over the pandemic and their own future to want to cook up a storm over Brexit again.

Brexit is yesterday. People want it sorted out one way or the other and if the government now decided to reverse the decision completely I don't think there would be a huge objection. They won't do that of course. Pride would stop that, but I can see quite a lot of backtracking on the horizon.

It's not the passenger air borders that are concerning. It's at the sea borders where so many just in time goods are transported too and fro. Without knowing what the arrangements are how can people really prepare?

I have read plenty of expressions of fear of real chaos and pleas for clarity, suggestions of lorry parks on the motorways outside the channel ports and food shortages.

The car industry certainly relies on efficiency in JIT and can’t afford any delays. A lot of the other groans will no doubt be exaggerated.

This may be true in respect of Brexit, but not really in relation to his other policies. Civil service reform, devolution of centralised power, anti ERG. Overall I don’t find it to be an accurate statement.

It's all posturing. Cummings is still on the pay-role somewhere, and still pulling the strings,...

It's the only way BJ can stay in power
