Didn't the Democrats just spend the best part of four years waffling conspiracy theories about Putin and Trump rigging the election in 2016?

The lawyers for the republicans are focused in on voting software.

I don't see a problem, if everything's as it should be then the evidence won't be there and the courts will dismiss it.

Whatever happens I'm probably going to enjoy it......though I admit, Biden will be ruinous....but tough times were ahead regardless.

No Stirley....no no no no no no and no again.

The Russians DID interfere in the 2016 election, using fake social media accounts to attack Clinton, suppress voters, and boost Trump.

This is a fact, it is accepted in every major law enforcement agency of the United States and was detailed ad nauseum in the Mueller report.

Please lets draw lines between conspiracy theories (Sandy Hook is a good example) and the truth (The Mueller report).

The evidence is not, will not, and never will be there, as it is a hoax.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Let's just say....Generally your ideas wouldn't go down that well.

I accept that they interfered in the same way that other governments like China interfered.....but that's not what I said is it Mainey.

I said that the Democrats claimed that Trump worked with Putin (Russians) to rig the election.

A conspiracy theory lasting years, deliberately taking up Trump's attention and it ended up having no evidence.

So when I read Democrat supporters reacting in shock to the Republicans claiming conspiracy now.....I just smile.

Perhaps they are....the apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it.

Unlike with the lies pushed by the Democrats, if there is no evidence on voting fraud then the courts will decide within months.

And then the real fun begins.

Completely agree. The conspiracy theories and absolute confidence that some are convinced that the result will be overturned is mind blowing.

Despite rumours to the contrary, I wasn't around in the 1930s but from all I know the theories on Aryan supremacy had been promoted by a variety of people for a while, and were widely accepted among certain groups. Not all of whom were German. That these theories came to prominence in the 1930s and caused the consequences they did are matters of historical record. A record I trust none of us wishes to see repeated.

Wriggle wriggle. Empiricism seems to suit when it’s needed. If you want to see white culture go outside. Cornwall is full of it.

The world does seem to be overly filled with people who are very confident about this or that and take everything hyper seriously.

It's like they all have read one too many 'positive thinking' books.

Ultimately I have no issues if Biden won fairly and while courts are obviously biased depending upon which state it resides in, I think in the end the truth of the matter will prevail.

Or not....it is America after all.

Anyway, we are all bemused spectators....Whoever gets to sit behind that desk it doesn't really change the ultimate direction the US is going in anyway.

We all tend to over emphasize the power of a US President.

The chairman of Goldman Sachs probably has more real power....well, the collective CEOs in the finance industry anyway.

Individual states will either listen or ignore the president....much as has been the case since 2016.

I don't think the affidavits are available but a summary is:

EYEWITNESS saw batch of ballots, 60% had SAME signature
EYEWITNESS saw ballot batch scanned 5 times
EYEWITNESS saw 50 ballots fed many times into scanner
EYEWITNESSES say Jan 1, 1900 was recorded in poll book as DOB for many not in book so they could count ballots
EYEWITNESS saw 35 ballots counted even though not connected to voter record
EYEWITNESS saw poll workers marking ballot with no mark for candidates
EYEWITNESSES saw ballots counted with no signature or postmark
VOTER said deceased son was recorded as voting twice
EYEWITNESS saw provisional ballots placed in tabulation box
PASSENGERS dropped off more ballots than people in car
WITNESS told ballots received after election were being pre-dated, counted
FAILED software that caused error in Antrim County used in Wayne County
GOP challengers not readmitted but Dems admitted
GOP challengers forced to stay away while Dems were not
GOP challengers physically pushed from counting tables by officials
GOP challengers subjected to racial harassment
DEM challengers gave out packet: “Tactics to Distract GOP Challengers”
Election officials covered windows so challengers couldn’t observe counting
Election officials cheered when GOP challenger ejected
GOP challenges to suspect ballots ignored
Challengers barred from observing ballot duplication process

These are sworn affidavits so clearly evidence but not proof.

Bigger than all this though was what happened when the voting stopped when Trump was comfortably ahead in swing states and they stopped the counting, when they restarted they were neck and neck. It was clearly bulls*** going on and the media turned a blind eye as usual.

Anyway, what conspiracy theory?

No it's not. It's full of mizzle at the moment and in summer it's full of tourists.

The people who live here are divided into two main groups. The locals and the incomers. Whilst they share many cultural things together some are unique to the locals. The sport of Cornish wrasslin for instance has much more in common with similar sports in Breton than anything English. There are many male voice choirs here with a traditional repertoire and distinct culture. You won't see the Furry dance anywhere other than in Helston on May 8th each year.

There are definitely claims that require investigation.

If they are dealt with fairly then it'll be interesting to see if they actually flip states.

Personally I think the republicans need this voting software claim to be true to really have a serious chance of retaining the oval office.

This is a great summary of the evidence being submitted in the lawsuits, which I think will be useful for all on this thread. So thanks for that. I'd be very interested to know if any of these eyewitnesses were paid the going rate of $25,000 for their information, but you'd have to do a bit more research to find that out.

I will however call you out on, as you so eloquently put it, the bulls*** that is the 'trump was ahead then he wasn't so it was a fix' rubbish. Firstly, no one republican talks about the states where he too came from behind to win in the same fashion. Cos it's fine for Trump but not for Biden, right?

Secondly, it's common knowledge that some states, such as Pennsylvania only start counting mail in ballots on the day. Further, had trump not dissuaded republican voters from mail in voting, he may well have won with an increased turn out.

For ref. 'The counting delays in Pennsylvania are largely due to rules put in place by the Republican-controlled state legislature, which did not allow mail-in ballots to be processed before the November 3 election day.' (What sweet irony)

In several sunbelt swing states, including Florida and Texas, poll workers started processing postal votes as early as two weeks before election day, allowing them to cope with the unprecedented number of mail-in ballots and record-high voter turnout.

Next topics that would be great to see a list of answers to

• What proof?
• What ruling?
