That's unlucky mate. You've been a close adherer to the rules from what I gather so it's a bugger that it's found a way through. All the very best to you and yours and hope it all works out OK for you all.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Hope all is well for you and your family. I would be severely tempted to get another confirmatory test though. You can get them through the post. Locking down the entire family for one possibly incorrect test would not be good, especially if the symptoms are as you say mild and unlike the standard description of symptoms.

Thanks eagle and you could be correct, but she has other symptoms (toilet related!) And feels a bit tight chested.
The home test could then be a false negative.
Looking at how far up her bugle that swab went I cant see home or self tests being as effective.
You just wouldn't go that far up or so long optionally. It nearly touches your eye socket I'm sure. I drove her there so saw it, trust me I wouldn't do it myself or I would do it less effectively.
I do wonder if home tests or self tests are the ones giving mixed readings. I take onboard your point and will discuss it with her. R

Will you all have to be tested too, or only if you show symptoms? I hope that everything remains "small" and you manage to find a way of enjoying the experience.

Stay safe and be kind.

No wissy, just if we get symptoms.
I'm sure the DIY list will enjoy the experience

Not sure you should have mentioned her chest with Tom-the-Eagle hovering

Ha ha.
I reckon vicks and rub could be on his mind and mask wearing would be mandatory for his own protection
