That's cause no PL club has someone like me finding them gems.

I shall have to bow at the 'Temple of Mattteo'.

Clubs have many people out finding them gems. People who go and watch players train, talk to them, their families, their agents. Not staying at home behind their keyboards playing fantasy football.

Ffs. What qualifications do you have to become a football scout? Walcott was a good player but is now way past his best, ask Everton fans

Well....if I am right often (even in extreme cases like Walcott's where no one agrees with me), it should be said.

It's not the first time. One time, before the Asian Cup, I named an unknown player from Qatar to do a good tournament. A country which had never reached the semifinals. They won that time and Ali Almoez became top scorer with 7 goals in the competition, incuding this in the final:

If he is good enough for the PL where is he playing now? Surely clubs are queuing up to sign him?

Perhaps Mattteo is a member of the PFSA.

I didn't say Walcott was going to replace Wilf. If Zahs had left, tjen I said a player of his stature would have had to be signed.

In fact, it wqs you guys who said it wqs no big deal if Zaha left, as he had had a previously ratgwr poor season, whole I was saying that he is indispensable and will be our best player again this season.

Not sure all US guys said that, not that clever to say he he would be our best player again, although time will tell. What did you say about Ayew when we signed him? Were you complimentary or did you produce a list of 100 odd better buys? I don’t know but sure you can tell us

Mattteo does provide us with screeds of information apropos a plethora of players from around the globe and perhaps his efforts are not rewarded with careful consideration of the detail by the great and good on HOL.

You are right but how many are actually realistic? Personally I do not think he is gods gift to football scouting, just my opinion of course

Until a duckhead shows up it's not complete....

You would.surely kniw this, because you know how the business works, right??

It's like this: managers have their own friends and family employees and people who are rich and buy their positions doing the work that someone like me would to better. You are the one commenting from behind a keyboard without havung a clue about the reality in football management.
