I very much suspected Benteke would start and I believe I asserted as such on HOL. It would appear that WBA are going for a back three with Darnell Furlong as right wing-back and Matt Phillips down the left although he is right-footed. He has played as a right wing-back but I have never seen him play down the left.Diangana is left-footed but I haven't seen him pay at left wing-back.Maybe I will be totally wrong about this whole matter !!!! There are 7 outfield players in the starting line-up either 29 or in their 30s. Edited by Willo (06 Dec 2020 11.34am)

We know how much Roy hates changing the team so the number of changes is an indication of how important this game is for his future. Good to see Dann getting dropped after the last few performances and Benteke deserves a chance given the piss poor start by Ayew/ Bats. My only chance would be Townsend for a Schlupp. Andros will whip in crosses for Benteke to attack whilst Jeff prefers to drive to the byline.
