which is bad news for the tesco bag boys.
Sam keeping WBA up will impact on Brighton.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

I hope not, I’m rather enjoying their current plight.

Me too. Arrogant fans. Feel sorry for Bilic, doing a decent job with no money. Looks like baggies fans wanted him to stay and the Chinese owners to go

I bet they left him in the job for the Man City match to avoid a difficult first game for a new manager. Funny that he got something out of it considering.

Yes it's harsh on Bilic. He never stood a chance with this squad. It's hard to work miracles without any options at his disposal.

I reckon BFS will save them. He wouldn’t take the job if he thought he wouldn’t be backed with £££S in January. Bad news for relegation threatens sides.

I'm not so sure BFS will turn it around. Like Pulis, maybe his time is up as a saviour of the flailing PL club. It didn't seem like Bilic had lost the players or the fans, so it might actually have a negative impact on the mood, especially as it will be a downer after the City result. He will also be without his key playmaker for his first two games and I'm not convinced by his strike force. We had a much better and more experienced squad when he came here and we backed him with some serious money. He's been out the game for much longer this time so he might not be able to call on players he's worked with before either.

Having said that, I would have been happy for him to stay here, but you can't hide from the fact that like Venables and Harry Redknapp he seems to have a somewhat shady side.

Shame, a sincere guy who got a great result last night, pity about the rest of the season!
On the transfer front can we secure the following:
Erikson
Alli
Origi plus the compact Swiss midfielder.
We may challenge for something next season hopefully still with Premiership status!

I think he will, he has a very good track record in these circumstances and he will have undoubtedly secured some decent financial backing for the January transfer window.

This is the classic BFS formula where he just has to work for half the season but for the equivalent of a full years salary, with an additional substantial bonus for keeping them up. No pre-season to worry about and no undue pressure either because of the reality after such a poor start.
I see he’s signed an 18 month contract but has a break free clause at the end of the season so he can do his usual of keepIng them up and then just leave at the end of the season to enjoy a stress free summer.

Agreed, always seemed like a decent chap. And he had to look at those horrendous away uniforms for his time there, they should give him a good severance for that.

Bilic is better off without them.

There will be plenty of work for an experienced man like him, especially in europe.

Whoever takes over, looks like Big Sam, will need a lot of money at WBA, the squad is just too thin for the PL.
