If Leicester's defence weren't all looking for Benteke, Zaha wouldn't have got the space for the goal at the far post. We just don't put enough balls into him. You can hear Lewington shouting at him and Townsend to hold their positions when Leicester are passing the ball about in their own half.

We were the better side for about 30 mins out of the 90. If Leicester had been clinical like Liverpool it would have been a cricket score so respect the point

How many points have we thrown away in the last 10 mins so far this season? Why can't we bloody concentrate for a full game. A point is okay given the performance but it feels like 2 (which we really could do with) thrown away. Edited by Wilesy01 (28 Dec 2020 4.55pm)

And there was me thinking he's only scored about 8 goals in 3 seasons, runs like he's in treacle, missed chance after chance and persistently gives away free kicks... Zaha got his space because the right back ball watched... Had nothing to do with Benteke.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |
