Sacked by Sheffield Wednesday. Was only appointment last month. Chairman says that as well as poor performances that there are also other issues which have had a bearing on the decision!

Only 1 win in 10 games, 7 pts from a possible 30 but he did take over a struggling team who were second from bottom and they have been no players signed whilst he has been in charge. Edited by Willo (28 Dec 2020 11.23pm)

Pulis took over a Sheff Wed side who had won 3 of their 11 league games but they did beat high-flying Bournemouth 1-0 at home in their 10th game.

You are correct - not all wages are up to date either it seems, so looking doubtful they'll avoid an embargo unless they sort that out quickly.

Pulis has been bringing the players round they are looking a much more solid outfit. But you can't polish a t**d as they say. A typical Pulis side will get a few results like we did under him and then go on. Sheff Wed a famous club too.
