It might not be desirable for an alien race. That is assuming that they are aliens and not time travellers. In any case, you can't just colonise a planet with life on it. Imagine the potential problems for a race who was born on a different planet.

I'd say that initially and predominently the whole "Trump is about to reveal the truth about aliens!" was just another QAnon type angle to get the untethered from reality on-side.

Not that I'm saying that alien life doesn't exist though, it almost certainly does. Whether it's been here is an open question though. I do always find the 'Gold Standard' of Roswell amusing. The idea that an alien race with super advanced technology beyond our wildest dreams would get here then promptly crashland is a rather curious thought.

There are loads of UFO's reported every year. My dad flew in surveillance aircraft for the RAF in the 1970's and his flight logs have a few sightings, with the occasional photo.

As for any alien landings, I doubt anyone could keep that a secret for very long.

It's a broad term really - UFO. It doesn't necessarily imply that they're from a different planet. It could be advanced technology, ours, Russias, Chinas who knows. Interesting all the same.
