I really don’t know what you expect. A point away from home against one of the “ big six” is something we should all be very pleased with. This is Palace we’re talking about not Man. Utd.

With respect, that belief is devoid of ambition. I am no longer grateful to be in the PL. I believe we have earned the right to be here. I often remind myself of the adage that if you remain constant in football, as opposed to moving forward, than you are going backwards. Arsenal were there for the taking tonight and we let ourselves down, regardless of the opposition.

Absolutely fantastic.
Well organised, resilient and created all the chances.
Jolly well done to Mr Hodgson, his coaching staff and all the players.

It may well be devoid of ambition, but you also has to realistic as well, that was a good point from a good performance.

Decent point with a solid display. Created some nice chances in the first half and defended well second half.

Best performance in a while from the central midfielders today. Luka and Macca worked hard. Shame we didn't put any of our chances away but a point was probably a fair result.

Easy 3pts against City next

Agreed. Good to see us defending the way we should. We stifled their attacking players and gave their defence a few scary moments.

McArthur was excellent and as was Luka - his best game for a while imo (and did it without silly fouls).

I have to agree with Apple that we messed up some great attacking moves with sloppy passing in the final third, but overall pleased with the point (which I predicted, although I thought it would b 1-1).

It should boost our confidence for the Etihad on Sunday where we could carry on our good run in Manchester.

Satisfied with a point and rediscovering the ability to keep a clean sheet going into the second half of the season is very welcome. Tomkins and McArthur our best IMO although both full backs were excellent as well.

Have to say I share a little of the disappointment regarding our quality in the final third when we had some good situations.

Really pleased with that and enjoyed watching.

Good performance by all 11 starters. Subs didn't really have long enough to make an impression.

Afterwards on sky there was a programme about Bergkamp I had on in the background. Arsenal have fallen a long way. Their starting 11 wasn't great, it's no wonder they are where they are. They are an example of what happens when accountants lead a business. Poorly run over a decade, their who identity is fading. Just a shiny company in an dull office block thats no longer new.

It was, a point away from home against a bottom half team. A good point. You could tell they were nervous of us on the break and didn't want to get caught out. They are in form, I think both teams would have taken a point before the game. Please don't get carried away.

We finally seemed to see some guts in our defending. Standing up to attacks again and again. Something we'd be missing for a long time. With the back 8 players all doing their bit at times.

Benteke had another decent performance. I noticed Wilf seems to drift away from him when out of possession like he's switched off. Not sure if he can keep constantly alert like a natural goal scorer, but he's doing great this year so won't be too harsh.

Mildly looking forward to City. Hasn't happened in a while.

Decent performance from our boys, just lacking the finishing touch which could’ve given us all three points. A fairly uninspiring game but a point away at The Emirates is not to be sniffed at.

A good point obviously but a shame we couldnt nick it. Arse succeeded in winding up Wilf and you know hes not going to be at his best once he starts waving his arms up and down and moaning to the ref. Luckily Andros stepped in to stop him reacting to yet another nasty foul.
On the plus side at least it might put off potential suitors.

In the spirit of finding something to complain about, I thought Townsend was awful. He looks like a bench player to me.

The more annoyed I got by him, the more I started focusing on watching him, and the worse he looks. Couldn't pass, lost every ball he contested, gave the ball away often. He was a one trick pony with speed on the wing, but he's even lost that. He can't outrun anyone now.

I'd like see anyone else on that side.

Good performance tonight with much more energy and passion this recent weeks. Notably Wardy and McArthur were bang on it.

Infuriating we have the three donkeys to up front. Benteke’s 1st touch is like he’s playing with a beach ball, Ayew does everything right until he gets in the box then f***s it up and Batshuayi can’t be trusted not to be offside so never gets a game. If we had a half decent striker we probably would have beaten a very lacklustre Arsenal.
