I disagree slightly that we don't need another CDM, yes we have loads but they're not the best. McCarthy will leave soon, McArthur is ageing fast and Luka is dog poop. Riedewald is the only CDM we have that I rate, Kouyate is a decent player when he's played there. Basically it wouldn't be a bad thing to bring in a 25 year old if he's better than what we have... Agreed.

The Tufan rumours persist - this looks genuine to me amongst all the fake news, and with 50 odd caps for Turkey at a young age, he must be decent and very likely an upgrade on what we have atm - the fact that Fenerbace are getting Ozil in whilst getting Tufan out also bodes well.

I would see this as a positive signing and one that could release one of Milivojevic, McCarthy, or McArthur.

IF he arrives could there be a chance that the reported Celtic move for James McCarthy would go through? he was great for us last season v City, but I wudn't miss him judged on his performance the other day, he manages to be a great tackler in spite of all the rule changes but his game his based too much on the physical side for me, he doesn't get around the pitch as quick as he did before his injury so his going to Celtic would suit everyone if Tufan came in.
